Prakriti Giri Star Voice of India Chhote Ustaad Video from December 21
It was a glorious Christmas Chhote Ustad Episode which was the first elimination episode and thank god our Prakriti Giri was in the "Fairy Land". Thanks for voting people. Prakriti Giri sang Tinka Tinka from the movie Karam sung by Alisha Chinai (Chinoy). She sang it beautifully as usual like the nightingale. She is doing well and we believe that she will reach the top if talent is given "the" preference. So people keep voting - 20 votes per episode per mobile allowed - you can vote again from the same mobile (20 votes) in the next episode and so on.

Prakriti Giri, our Beloved Chhote Ustaad

The Prakriti Giri Fan Club in Darjeeling was officially launched yesterday. The press was present. It was very kind of Sai Ratna School to provide one of its classroom to be used as the office. Yes the phone has been installed.It was a moment of overwhelming Prakriti's musical career and experience. It was stated that she first started her classical vocal training when she was three and a half years old. Her mother, Mrs. Manju Giri spoke of her daughter to the press. The main guy behind Prakriti's singing ability was credited to Mr. Bomzon, a singer and composer, who recognized Prakriti's singing ability and hence instigated her parents to support her singing.Prakriti's mom and Mr. Sharma thanked the Bal Vikas education system and informed that Bal Vikas grooms a child morally - it imparts moral education. Mrs. Rana, teacher Loreto Convent Darjeeling, spoke of Prakriti's excellent nature both in the field of singing and academics. She is a forerunner in both. Mrs. Rana sends her good wishes from the entire Loreto Convent (Darjeeling) family.Prakriti's family and the Fan Club has requested all who love music and those who appreciates Prakriti's singing to vote for her by sending individual sms (details for sms etc. are on the right hand column under "Prakriti Giri Voting Details". Thanks to the hill community for coming forward to help Prakriti Giri attain success and thanks to all the Prakriti fans anywhere in the world for supporting Prakriti.In the mean time we are temporarily working out with A4 size Prakriti banners. A group of Prakriti fans are going around town plastering "Vote for Prakriti" posters - right now funds are short so we decided to do photo copies of one master copy. If anybody needs the copy of the A4 size poster then we have included the same here.Please click on the thumbnail picture of the poster and you will get the bigger version, click once again on the photo and you will get the original size. Right click the Prakriti Giri poster and save it to your computer. If you are printing at home, open the file in some image editor such as Photoshop, Gimp etc. and print it. Make sure you print it in "landscape" printer settings. If you give it to the printers, they will know it. It may take a while for the image to load, size is 1.35 MB, format - .jpg, resolution - 300 dpi.

Prakriti Giri December 15 Video on Chhote Ustaad
It was another stunning performance by our cute and sweet, Prakriti Giri. I am always amazed by the ability that Prakriti Giri possesses and there must be hundreds of such talented kids who needs opening. Prakriti seems to pave the way and a heart felt thanks to her parents for supporting her. Yes, there is a singing career, but some struggle is involved - all you have to have is hard work - practice and practice.There was a small discussion on whether Prakriti Giri is just an average singer or a gifted and hard working child. Well, if she was not good then she would probably be spending her vacation with her parents in some warm place. She is a good and talented singer and that is why she managed to be on TOP 12 and not to forget the fact that these 12 contestants were chosen by the judges.
